A minor update of Celsius is now available on SourceForge. It contains a couple of bug fixes, an extended manual with slightly more detailed installation instructions for MacOS and Windows and new plugins. Enjoy!
Screenshots and use cases available
I just added descriptions and screenshots for various use cases of Celsius. Under “Scientific Papers”, “eBooks” and “Geocaches”, you find more information about how Celsius works, which features it comes with and a couple of screenshots giving you an idea of the running program.
Celsius3 alpha 2 available
Time for another update. If you had to struggle with the “item folder could not be created” error, this one and a couple of other bugs have been fixed. The new version can be downloaded by clicking on the button on the right or from the Downloads-section.

Celsiusv3.0.alpha.1 available
The first alpha version of Celsius 3.0 is now available for download. It should be reasonably stable (I use it in my daily scientific work), but some more features might be included in the final version and the GUI design might still change slightly. christian Celsius 3.0.0 out
November 20th, 2011
christian Due to research commitments, it took much longer than anticipated. But now, I’ve managed to put a final release of Celsius 3.0.0 together. I’ve tested this version over several months, and I hope that I spotted all bugs. If you should find anything else, please leave a comment on sourceforge.
Celsius is now open source
June 7th, 2011
christian I’ve just finished uploading Celsius 3.0 beta 2 to sourceforge (where all the downloads will be hosted from now on). With this version, Celsius has become open source (GPLv3). Enjoy! If you like Celsius a lot, you can still support the project by buying me a coffee (click on the “donate” button on sourceforge).
Celsius should be much more stable now, and the GUI should work in all the Look-And-Feels. I’ll upload updated screenshots in a week or so. Please let me know if you encounter any bugs.
Celsius 3.0 beta 1 available
December 26th, 2010
christian After some pause, I managed to finish the first beta of Celsius and you find a link for downloading on the right. All features (except for possible new plugins) are now frozen and I will only include bug fixes until the final version gets released. I use Celsius heavily in my everyday work, and the current version seems to be reasonably stable.
If you should have comments, suggestions for improvements or bug reports, just contact me. I’m happy about all feedback. Online registration of the software is not open yet, but you can contact me by email, if you’d like to register.
